Wow. These chapters of Proverbs demonstrate how King Solomon was given the wisdom from God (which King Solomon asked of God to be able to rule Israel with justice and compassion), a gift far better than all the wealth and riches in the world. The blessings came as the result of wisdom for King Solomon. These instructions are still applicable in our lives today.

At times (maybe most of the time) we think we are wise or wiser than others, i.e we could be in charge. But if wisdom did not come from God (we should earnestly pray for), it is easy to fall astray from the right path.

My prayer:

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

God bless.
